What do I get for free?
Your Octo, workspace, workspace channels, and persistent context remain available on Free. The app shows the current model, usage, and workspace-storage allowances; we tune those allowances so Free stays affordable and useful. Reaching an allowance pauses or limits the affected feature — it never creates an automatic charge. Eligible new Builders may also receive a time-limited Signup Offer; its exact duration and included plans are shown before account creation.
What happens after the signup offer?
Without a paid conversion, you step down to Free automatically. Your projects become read-only archives for 90 days: Octo can discuss their repo and channel history with you, but cannot keep building. Pay during that window to restore them, or export what you need before the project repos, project channels, files, and deployments are deleted. Your workspace stays.
What happens if I upgrade during the offer?
A paid Personal plan starts immediately. Your first self-serve Builder gateway subscription starts with its seven-day free trial. Either choice replaces the signup offer, and the exact plan, renewal price, billing interval, and trial terms are shown before checkout.
What is the difference between Personal and Builder?
Personal plans run on our shared platform and include your model tokens — one price, everything in. Builder plans are for people who already have an AI subscription and ship real things: your own isolated gateway with exec and process access, GitHub integration, issue tracking, dev boards, and the weekly Pulse. The price covers the infrastructure; tokens ride your existing Claude or ChatGPT plan, an attached Personal plan, or prepaid credits.
How does the Builder gateway trial work?
Your first self-serve Builder gateway—Hobby, Pro, or Team—is free for seven days on whichever tier you choose. Stripe requires a credit card at checkout. Cancel in the billing portal before the trial ends and you pay $0; otherwise that monthly or annual subscription starts automatically at the price shown in checkout. The trial is available once per account.
How do tokens work on a Builder plan?
Three paths, and they stack: bring the Claude or ChatGPT subscription you already pay for; attach any paid Personal plan and its token budget applies; or keep prepaid credits with auto-refill. Stack an Octogee plan or credits on top of your own subscription to run a council of experts — different models for different jobs and contexts. Builder plans never fall back to the free allowance: if no path is active, model access pauses until one is.
What does annual billing save?
Two months. Every annual plan is ten monthly payments for twelve months of service, on both Personal and Builder ladders.
What happens if I downgrade or cancel?
When paid access ends, you land on Free. Your workspace and workspace channels remain, subject to the current Free allowances shown in the app. Your projects stop and enter the same 90-day read-only archive window. Upgrade during that window to restore them, or export before permanent project deletion.
Is there a Business or Enterprise tier?
