Not a trial — an honest tier that exists forever. Every new account also starts with 7 days of Personal Pro, so you can see what's possible.
What happens after the 7-day Personal Pro trial?
It steps back to Free. The trial's projects, website, custom domain, and Personal Pro token budget go away unless you subscribe — sorry, that's the honest deal. Octo, your workspace, and your memory stay free forever, and plans start at just $20/mo.
What is the difference between Personal and Builder?
Personal plans run on our shared platform and include your model tokens — one price, everything in. Builder plans are for people who already have an AI subscription and ship real things: your own isolated gateway with exec and process access, GitHub integration, issue tracking, dev boards, and the weekly Pulse. The price covers the infrastructure; tokens ride your existing Claude or ChatGPT plan, an attached Personal plan, or prepaid credits.
How do tokens work on a Builder plan?
Three paths, and they stack: bring the Claude or ChatGPT subscription you already pay for; attach any paid Personal plan and its token budget applies; or keep prepaid credits with auto-refill. Stack an Octogee plan or credits on top of your own subscription to run a council of experts — different models for different jobs and contexts. Builder plans never fall back to the free allowance: if no path is active, model access pauses until one is.
What does annual billing save?
Two months. Every annual plan is ten monthly payments for twelve months of service, on both Personal and Builder ladders.
What happens if I downgrade or cancel?
You land on Free. Octo is still yours to talk to — chat, memory, web search — and you can still participate in other builders’ workspaces and projects. But Free is Free: your own projects stop, people can no longer join your channels, isolated gateways are released, and the 10 GB workspace limit applies — trim or export anything above it. Pick a plan again and you’re back to building.
